Here is a list of some guys that I think that will pick up their production and also a list of guys that are playing over their heads. You should try and trade for the "Buy Low " right now and you shouldn’t have to give that much up for them. The people that are playing above their expectations right now, "Sell High", trade them for a player that you know will continue to put up solid numbers for the rest of the year. When you can add a player with tremendous upside to your team, remember it makes your team better even if you are giving up more now.

Cory Stillman, Center - Carolina Hurricanes |
Cory Stillman already has more points this season (29) then he did in his injury plagued season last year (27). Stillman is averaging over 1 point per game, and I doubt unless you truly have been following the Hurricanes this season you wouldn’t know it. Go offer someone that is more of a household name then he is, and you will be getting the better player. |
| Brenden Morrow, Left Wing - Dallas Stars |
Not that many players are hotter than Brenden Morrow right now. Morrow has points in 16 of his last 18 games, and is slowly climbing up my list of Top 50 players. Morrow was having a breakout season last year when he got hurt, and he has picked up right where he left off. You will be able to get Morrow for basically nothing, which will make your fantasy team better. |
| Marian Hossa, Right Wing - Atlanta Thrashers |
Is anything better then a player that you know is great and he is currently struggling on someone else’s team? The answer to that question, is no. When you see a player that has great potential doing bad, that is when you are suppose to jump in and steal him away from that person. Hossa is the perfect example to this. Started bad, but will start to score. |
| Michael Nylander, Center - Washington Capitals |
This former Hartford Whaler has one thing working for him now, and that is he is on the same line as Alexander Ovechkin. What does this mean? It means that he is going to be racking up the points as Ovechkin racks up the goals. Nylander is playmaker, and always has been one throughout his career. |
Scott Gomez, Center - New York Rangers |
One of the biggest name free agents from over the summer was Scott Gomez, he has gotten off to a slow start. You should use this in your favor. Gomez is going to start scoring and playing on a team such as the Rangers who have so many people around that can make a difference is only going to make Gomez even better. Try and pull a trade for him. |

Paul Stastny, Center - Colorado Avalanche |
Paul Statsny got off to a great start. In my first Top 50 Rankings for the season I had Statsny third. Since then he has still put up solid numbers but each rankings he has dropped. Knowing this if he was on my team I would look around and see what I can get for him. Statsny is young, try and get a veteran for him, maybe you can get Daniel Briere for him. I did. |
Michael Cammalleri, Center - LA Kings |
Michael Cammalleri got off to a great start scoring a lot of goals, and has a buzz around him right now on how well he is playing. Because people are recognizing him as such a great player and maybe the best on his team, people are going to start pressuring him more. I would move him and be happy with what I could get for him, because I don’t see him finishing with more then 35 goals on the season. |
Henrik Zetterberg, Left Wing - Detroit Red Wings |
If I had Henrik Zetterberg, it would be hard for me to trade him right now, since he is playing so well. If he was on my team, I would just let everyone in the league know that he could be available. You may be able to get a great package for him or you might be able to Rick Nash, Jarome Iginla, or Ilya Kovalchuk. |
Pascal Leclaire, Goalie - Columbus Blue Jackets |
Pascal Leclaire is an enigma to me. So far this year he is 10-5-1 with a G.A.A of 1.87 and 6 shutouts, while playing for the Blue Jackets. In my opinion there is no way he can continue to play like this and keep shutting teams out. I would see what I could get for him now, because if you hold onto him and the team goes into a slump, you may be stuck. |
Nik Antropov, Right Wing - Toronto Maple Leafs |
Nik Antropov also was ranked very high on my beginning of the season Top 50 list, second to be exact. In the latest Top 50, he is barely staying in it. I would move him very quickly, while he still has some value to him. Over the last month he hasn’t put up good numbers at all and is playing on a slumping Maple Leafs team. |
